While designing this, we identified the need for "breathing back/doors" to air the shoe shelves regularly and remove stale air. A typical louvered look, though functional, didn’t suit a living space. Moreover, louvres don’t effectively stop dust and insects. Instead, we used natural jute fabric, which meets all requirements while keeping the shoes discreet. The fabric also blends seamlessly with curtains and upholstery, adding a stylish touch.
