Our furniture and artifacts are crafted from the finest quality teak wood, typically seasoned over decades and reclaimed. This meticulous process minimizes the chances of warping, expansion, contraction, and cracks that are common in wooden items.

Handcrafted by the best artisans in India, our pieces feature detailed, meticulous craftsmanship with some of the finest joineries and shaping. The finishing process involves machine and hand sanding, priming, sealing in two steps, and applying several coats of sealants and PU from the world-class Emporio series through spray. Intermittent sanding between coats ensures the treatment of all surface undulations and natural cracks, highlighting the rich teak wood grain texture.

For self-care, gently clean the surface with dry, clean cotton fabric. It takes about a year or two for this lifetime product to settle down. Any minor expansion, contraction, or surface blemish can be fixed with slight sanding using fine emery paper, either as a DIY project or with the help of a local artisan.

At any point during the product's lifecycle, if you arrange logistics to and from our workshop, we are happy to inspect and renew the surface finish of your heirloom furniture or artifact. This is the Rusteak Promise!

Additional accessories such as foam, belts, springs, fabric, hardware, lights, brass, wicker, cane, jute, and more may also be part of the product. We only use reputable brands like Hettich, Hafele, Godrej, Serom, and Solanki. We ensure a high level of due diligence, selecting only the very best, natural, and ethical products. The warranty from these principal brands, based on fair usage, extends to our customers in such cases.

Shipping charges are extra.

Products ordered through website for delivery within India are shipped through our courier partner if the delivery service to the destination is available. In absence of courier service to the desired location, the products are shipped through Indian Postal Service.

Shipping to locations outside India is done through Indian Postal Service.

If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns.

You are entitled to cancel Your Order within 7 days with a valid reason for cancelling/returning.

The deadline for canceling an Order is 7 days from the date on which You received the Goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.

We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

Conditions for Returns

In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

The Goods were purchased in the last 7 days.

The Goods are in the original packaging.

The following Goods cannot be returned:

The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or personalized.

The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly, or where the date of expiry is over.

The supply of Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.

The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.

Only regular-priced Goods may be refunded. Unfortunately, Goods on sale cannot be refunded. This exclusion may not apply to You if it is not permitted by applicable law.

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.

Gifts

If the Goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, You’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to You. If the Goods weren’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the Order shipped to themselves to give it to You later, We will send the refund to the gift giver.
